We offer open access to seven NMR spectrometers at the Henry Wellcome Building, a national NMR facility based in Birmingham and supported by the School of Cancer Sciences and the College of Medical and Dental Sciences.
New and proven technologies for ligand discovery, metabolomics and structural biology are developed and provided at HWB•NMR by its staff and a growing community of NMR users including many postdoctoral fellows and graduate students.
A team of five NMR staff within the School of Cancer Sciences manage the facility's operations, and provide personal consultation, high-level training, collaborative expertise and hands-on spectrometer access.
We welcome inquiries from prospective new users. Our services have been accessed by users from twenty UK-based universities, a dozen groups from across Europe, and several companies involved in biomedical, biochemical and pharmaceutical research and development.

The Henry Wellcome Building for Biomolecular NMR Spectroscopy was established in 2004 as a national facility for biomedical research by the Wellcome Trust and Higher Education Funding Council, and provides open access to researchers across the UK and EU.
